I have a few other questions (sorry) but don’t want to look stupid for bringing any of these in for service:1. Why would my tire pressure gauge not work?2. Are the front seats supposed to have a loose/rocking feel like they have a spring on them?3. When the navi lady talks back to you does she only talk from the front passanger?4. My driver mirror goes absolutely retarded and won’t stop clicking when I put it in reverse and if that mirror adjustment knob is clicked to the L.
Thanks again in advance,Dave
Sorry for the delay. My account got messed up due to the hack and now I'm back and can post.
WEll, the 2003 grille is identical to the grille you have now, but is all chrome. Much shiner and stands out more. I think it's around $100 vs $400+ for cima grille.
1) It's possible when the dealer changes the tires, they didn't sync the sensors back up. There is a special tool for this that only the dealer has.
If you read your manual it says the order of the tire pressure readings can't be linked to a certain tire.
This is not true! After the first day of owning this car and many more, I tested this when driving. I let air out of one tire at a time, and it works in a clock-wise pattern.
While sittin in the vehicle, the top number on the screen is the front right tire, the next number down is the rear right tire, the next number down is the rear left tire, and the last number on the screen is the front left tire.
They really need to correct this in the manual. It's a little misleading and you CAN TELL which tire is low. I don't know why this isn't mentioned anywhere else. It may also be the way the dealer sets it up, but if you test it on yours and find out the pattern, it shouldn't change.
2) No, there is a TSB that fixes this problem. The replace the seat rails free of charge.
3) No, it should come out of both sides. Check your fader/audio controls and make sure everything is in the middle.
4) You can fix that. When it's in reverse, adjust the mirror where you want it to be, then the next time it will stay to where you adjusted it to. You can do this for either side. More info in your manual.
