Were you surprised at how costly that mistake was? The CVT fluid (NS-2) costs almost $20 a quart. We had a customer do his first oil change on a 2.5L Altima and pulled the wrong plug (previous Honda owner, maybe, seeing as how Hondas put the engine on the driver side?) and needed 5 quarts...ouch.Dominator wrote:Where do I add CVT fluid on the 2007 Sentra 2.0S? (I made a big mistake and started to pull the wrong drain plug and simply want to get about a quart from the local dealer and refill it) But where to refill in the engine compartment is not obvious to me! Thanks...

(1 hour later....) No bother, can't delete the post, but I found my answer in the nicoclub.com online references - thanks to those who share them! (the answer is that there's a narrow "CVT fluid charging pipe" - I had suspected it with a visual check, but wasn't certain, and can now handle it myself)
