Where to buy USDM 2JZGTE engines?

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Does anyone know of a reputable company (companies) that supplies USDM 2JZGTE engines?

Thanks!

Chris

For the price of a usdm supra motor with high us mileage you can get a jdm motor re-built with fresh bearings and seals, heck even forged rods and pistons for the same price.

Except 2jz's come from the factory with forged rods and pistons, and are known to be good for well over 600whp. So unless you're shooting for chassis twisting power, I'd say yes to the bearings, but i'd skip the pistons/rods. Maybe a fresh set of rings... maybe.

Though those are informative posts, it doesn't answer Chris's question.

I too would like to know where to get a good engine. I know that Driftshop.com sells everything i will need for a kit, but I know there has to be a place to get the stuff cheaper.

No offense to Drifting.com as far as prices. Ya'll are great, but I'm cheap.
