where can i buy a trans rebuild kit and a shift fork. thanks

on manual trans there are no rebuild kits persay. You have to go through and pick out what you need to replace. If you want to replace all the bualk rings then you buy each one individually, same with the shift fork. Best way to go about it is ,tear the trans down ,inspect all the gears and components . Which ever have chips or excessive wear replace those parts, also replace all the bearings.

is a there web site that isnt to cheap. all i want is the seal kit, bearings, syncs, and that fork. i built one for my hachi but i bought everything from teh dealer and it was expensive i was just wondering if there was a good place to get the stuff.

I was going to recommend the dealer as those are the only real quality parts I know of. We have three dealers on here that sell at a hell of a discount, but for the parts you need you will probably have to contact them as their sites dont break down on the internals of the trans.

damn allright thanks though. i'll do that over time i found one at a junk yard for 250 so i'll put that one in and rebuild the other one in time. thanks

good idea. transmission overhaul is a fun longterm project. i can turn a max manual around in one day if the parts are in but its more fun to tear it down and disect each part. plus you end up with a spare.

A spare is really what i want. can never have to many spare parts ready
