Where to buy the steering wheel emblem??

Some friend of mine thought it funny to try and "steal/hide/jack/borrow" my emblem from the steering wheel, but failed while using a screwdriver and bent/scratched it up somewhat. I want to get it replaced, but can't find that specific part online...Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase one to replace my messed up one?

P.S. I'm not the one who is paying for it-->the dumb friend is.

You may have to get it replaced via a Nissan dealership. I'm not sure how it mounts but I'm sure it won't come off easy as that could cause issues when the airbag goes off.

Man, I have one. I can also tell you that the only way I got it off intact was from a blown airbag. It has little arms with holes in them that go into the airbag housing and another plastic piece inside the housing holds it there. I don't think there's anyway to put a new one on properly without replacing the whole deal. I'm sure you could glue one on or something, though. I would post pics, but I don't know how.

I would check salvage yards. I'm pretty sure it comes as part of the airbag only from the dealer. you could probably get it for next to nothing off a blown airbag in a yard. I'm willing to part with mine, too if you want. It's in perfect condition, as the car it came off had 2500 kms. Good luck!

I still have the abused one and I can for sure put it back on and it stays it's just it looks effed up. The airbag is still good and nothing has happened. It's just a little piece of plastic and you can see the airbag rolled up through the three holes where the emblem goes.

The emblem should be held from the back side to prevent it becoming a 100mph projectile if the airbag goes off. It'd be best to get a new to you airbag installed (whether it's new from a dealer or a junkyard). Just make sure you disconnect the battery when you change the airbag.

yeah and make sure you bring plenty of bling bling because if you have to tear into something that was once perfectly good and for no good reason it is not any good now.............it usually costs you a couple weeks of happiness.......so like i said........have your idiot friend go on a mission and if he fails to fix your dilemna............. you get the girl..................
