Hey, im new to the NICO forum, but have been a Nissan fan for a while. I was wondering where you guys got your ca18det front clips and how much you paid. Im looking for one, but I want to find a legit place with some good prices who can get me something other than a sr20det (god do i hate that) well thanks much everyoneCA18DET FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

i have a whole 1985 nissan 200SX CA18DET engine and car for sale. The only thing i am taking off of it which will make it slow agian is the turbo (t25 sorry) ECU, intercooler, exhaust manifold, BOV and the other turbo items. ill have the stock CA20E parts back on it with the CA20E ECU in the car so it will run, but it will not have a turbo just stock. ill sell the car with the CA18DET block and pistons and everything to anyone for $1000 for the whole car or like $800 for the block and crap. Needs new rings but dont all old cars i have them too.

im tabing out the turbo items and putting them into my 85' 200SX CA20E and making a CA20ET just a project car. ill have the left over items for sale if anhyone needs it including gauges, clusters, ECU, blocks, manifolds, ect.... you get the point

I dont think he has the ca18Det in his 200sx turbo. If he does, then how would he be putting his ca20e parts on it to make it run? not possible. as far as getting CA's, theres a few options. I ran across a new one today while on Ebay. http://www.streetstyleracing.com has em for $1000

I'm getting a CA18DET motorset from venus-auto for $1500 + $250 shipping (to atlanta). They say my motorset should be in sometime next week.

Run a search...pretty legit, but you MIGHT have to deal with broken or missing stuff, they make it right though...at least they have for most everyone. I have an RB25 coming from them in about 2 weeks...we'll see how it is

Oh, and run a search for streetstyleracing...somebody just got screwed by them if I remember correctly. Venus sells CA's for 1500...thats the price I was quoted

i really got to look into shipping engines to the US, you guys are gettign ripped off, if i can find someone in Miami to ship the engine to i am sure i can beat these guys prices, i get CA18DET's comlplete here for $400-$800 max, and thats out of locally sold S13 200sx's, even cheaper out the junk yards.. i'll do a little snooping around this weekend and talk to my buddy that runs a shipping company that does sea freight shipping to and from miami..
