where to buy new oem 240 parts?

alright gentlemen. first of all im new to this forum. and fairly new to my 240. i bought my car (1990 240sx w/ manual trans n ka24e motor) about 4 months ago. the car was in great shape and the guy i bought it from said he just replaced a few things on it. one of which was the radiator... on my way home this evening my car starts smoking like no tomorrow. after i popped the hood i noticed that there was a hole in the top of the radiator. if the guy just changed the radiator, why would this one go on me just after a few months??? might there be some sort of blockage through the coolant system somewhere that was overlooked?

regardless, i need to change the radiator now. and im wondering where might a good spot to order new oem parts for this car be? (besides a nissan dealership, im trying to keep that as a last resort cause i know prices are still fairly high)

i also noticed that the closer i got to home, and the hotter the car got... this knocking sound during acceleration was getting louder... might that be rod knock. if so, does that mean get new motor now?

i wouldent go jump on a new motor just yet but it sounds like you should get your coolant system flushed check your thermostat and try an auto dismantler or a you pull place if you have one in your area for the radiator . im lucky i have like 3. im not really an expert on knocks it could be a rod depending on you milage im sure youve checked the oil but if not check it again and good luck.

wow, i had no idea that a decent radiator would cost me a limb or two... seeing how it was the top tank of my radiator that melted. i really dont need to go with another radiator that comes with plastic tanks. im looking at koyorad and pwr radiators at the moment. if anyone has any other suggestions on good radiators, im open to all other opinions
