I am looking to buy a hydraulic to solid lash kit. I have e-mailed takakaira.com and they can't get the tomei or jun kits any more. Are there any companies still making the kit or are there any that still have NOS parts?

Well, JUN, HKS, and Tomei have all discontinued production of CA parts, so finding a shop that has something that specific is going to be hard here in the US, as it will more than likely be found abroad.

Try email Simon Norris at Norris Designs @:http://www.norrisdesigns.com/

Their demo CA (511wheel hp) has "ND Lightweight Soild Lifters", however, there is no such part listed on their site. Possibly a custom part?

Silly wabbit, lash kits are for SR's!

The CA's superior valvetrain has no need for, nor can it even use, a "lash kit" like the SR needs for high RPM operation.

For high RPM operation, see rico's post on places to find fancy stuff and such, but stock valvetrain can live at 8k RPM as long as the rest of hte engine is in good shape (i.e. oil pump), but without some wild cams you'll make ****e for power up there. If you want to go crazy you can go solid lifter, but you need the lifters, shims probably, and cams meant for them.. Tomei used to make the parts, they're same as RB26 IIRC or maybe it was RB25 except the cams of course..
