IM LOOKIN for more places than revhard and ams that deal with the kat set-up. I dont want used parts, i wana buy brand new. I see alot of "9sec KAT's" but all say custom this and that. I just need you guys to point me in the right direction. I did search, i just have some questions that a shop can answer easliy hince they build the motors all the time.

What kind of parts are you looking for? Most turbo parts are universal, such as Wastegates, Blow off valves, intercoolers, boost controller, etc...The only parts that must be specific for the KA are the manifold, downpipe, dumptube, and injectors. For injectors I say check out http://www.Deatschwerks.com, for manifolds there are a few out there right now you gota search. If you want motor parts AMS, 240sxmotoring, phase2motortrend. Hope this helped a little

You can also check out JGS for an affordable, good quality turbo manifold for the KA. They also have good turbo starter kits, but the kits won't necessarily net you 400-450 whp.

Here's a list of places (I'm feeling generous today):

JGS-affordable manifolds, turbos, kits, oil linesAMS-awesome turbos, great manifolds, more money, but awesome customer serviceDeatschwerks- InjectorsInjected Performance- great prices on AEM gauges, and other related itemsRS Enthalpy- Great ECU tunesSparkplugs.com-great prices on sparkplugsXATracing-good price for Walbro fuel pumpsPhase2motortrend- miscellaneous turbo componentsPhoenixTurbos- Great priced turbos240sxmotoring-miscellaneous turbo components

That's a list of where I got a lot of my stuff. If you're looking for 400-450whp I highly recommend doing A LOT of reading and searching.

Good luck!

AMS sells all the parts to rebuild your motor. Search for Brian Crower Cams. AMS is working on an intake manifold for the KA. Xcessive already has an intake for the KA($500ish the last time i looked at it). Most downpipes have to be custom unless whoever you buy the manifold from has a combo.

Whats your budget by the way.....

the more info you guys inform me about and the th emore i read , the more i stuff in my head.

i know:the ka has a cast iron block so thats a plus. its a pretty stout motor nice displacement and etc.

and yes i say 700whp just to be safe, but once you turbo anything safe and reliable is out the window.

how will these motors act on high compression and turbo?

the limit depends on how well its built, tuned, and manintained so those are crucial factors

anybody ever deal with Treadstone Turbo Products, or Nizzx.com, seem to be top notch. any info would be great thanks.

I have a 3500 budget and i am goin to piece a turbo kit together and put rods/pistons/ bearing/micro polish and balance crank. thats about 2k alone so i have about 1500 and a paday to get this project rollin.
