There's also exhaust putty. Comes in a tube like rtv sealant andyou squeeze out what you need.

I use basicaly the same thing dangeris said, its called like copper gasket maker or something. I used it when I installed my illegal y-pipe.

It's pretty easy to use. Just put a bead of it around the opening and let it sit for like 10 min then bolt the pipes together. oh ya, I got it from O'rielly

also what kind of warranty work are you planning to have done due to the exhaust? I can't imagine a situation where the exhaust is at fault of anything?

the warranty job is done. i had to replace my cat converter due to a leak i had coming from it. the dealership was giving me a hard time saying my nismo exhaust was the caused the cat converter to leak. thanks for the advice guys i'll try the gasket putty thing since regular gaskets are always rusting and breaking into pieces for me.

Well your dealer they're full of $hit! If they really think that the burden of proof lies on them, not you. It's called the Magnuson Moss ACT. Basically the dealer or car company must prove that the installation of an aftermarket part was a the direct cause of failure to an OEM part. It's been discussed here in several threads already. Google it so you can be edu-ma-cated..

Not to mention the fact that it's a damn NISSAN exhaust on your car. God, I hate ignorant service shops.
