I was playing around under the hood of my car today (Checking the battery) and I saw the cabin air filter. I then took the glove compartment door off to see that it is pretty easy to replace. However, places like auto zone and pep boys don't seem to have it in stock. Where can it be purchased besides the dealer? How much is it from the dealer?

What?
Yeah. after I removed all of the plastic shrouding around the battery I could see what looked like a filter. I then took the glove compartment door off and 2 other peices of plastic and there it was. I have checked two auto parts stores so far. One of them had it listed in thier parts book as not available and the other had nothing listed. (I beleive these were fram filter books). Never mind though. I found it on E-bay.

ON this subject of the air filter, anyone know where I can find instructions to replace my M45 air filter (2006). I tried to take glove box off, but no go. I could not get access to the bottom screws. I see them, but cannot get to them. I understand I need to take the glove box off to change the filter. Bu no luck yet. Any suggestions???? Thanks.

If your car is like mine (which it should be) the process should be the same.

Best source is either an Infiniti dealer, or (with better prices) from http://www.everythinginfiniti.com ... this is an Infiniti dealer who sells parts on the Internet. And supports us NICO folks!
