i've checked jspec.com but they're sold out...is there anywhere else that carries c's short shifters and maybe a lower price?

for 300 dollars, get the B+M its a complete unit, and it feels great.it might produce gear noise if your transmission's gears have lash in them, but everyon loves how the B+M feels and shifts. much likes a race car, very tight and precise.B+M is on sale at enjuku racing.-chet

TO me, yes. because the C's is similar to design of all the copies, such as pilot and OBX.

its a little spacre with a hold down design, whereas the B&M shifter is a full-on-replacement shift assembly, bottom peices(the peice that bolts to the transmission) and all. its metal-on-metal with teflon coatings(or so I was told) so its very tights and precise, but can give you some noise feedback on olrder trannies.

Nevertheless, C's is still a great shifter.

I had one in my 200SX and it kicked ***. Everybody was always like "damn, what kind of shifter is that? It's the best one I've ever felt." (in a 200SX anyway).

you really cant go wrong with either. easiest way to put it, for decision purposes:1. if you race, and I mean RACE. like in a league, and or on track days and dont give a flip about noise, get the B&M.2. if you like to have a shorter shift witout noise, but still have a soft feel(some like it ) get the C's/

simple. both great peices.-chet

soft feel..as in soft as stock? i like the feel of the s2000 stock shifter... i don't want to be struggling with every shift because it's so hard.

edit: i don't race seriously...maybe a little autox here and there...i guess i'll go with the C's.

good choice :)B&M can be a bit harsh feeling at times, but I like that(I road race every so often, and after the panoz driving school, I love race gearboxes.)
