you can test the tps sensor with a volt meter. on the unit itself if youre looking at it have the middle slot be on the top and the two slots on the bottom. hook up the ohmmeters to the middle and right pins on continuity mode. when the throttle is closed it should have no continuity and when opened it should. then on the connector coming out of the tps sensor do the same thing with the pin on the top and the ohmmeters connected to the middle and right pins but have the volt meter to test resistance(ohms). when closed it should read 1000ohms and as you open it it should increase up to about 8600ohms

well i took it out for a drive and i hooked up my temp sensor and i think i hooked up my knock sensor its the plug kinda right behind the starter? i hooked it up to the white wire by my chassis wiring. and i put a ka24de temp sensor inside. it took forever to warm up but whoa once it did it wasnt bogging out and it would only bog if i was pounding it after a while. but for my resistors im running 4 radio shack 10v 10 ohm resistors. could that be a problem? i still have yet to test my o2 and tps sensor. but it is starting to run better and better right now i say its at like 70% when warm and 10% when cold.......... lol thanks this forums is a big help

The ideal Ohms is anywhere from 2-5 IIRC. so what every that translates to in resistors is what you want.
