Ive finally made my mind up i want a sr20det with the full wiring harness and ecu, other than that i cant find any company that sells them without huge shipping fees, is there a company that most of u have gone through with the best customer service and no problems with any parts?

enjuku and heavythrottle are the two most reputable engine sources. you won't go wrong with either.

+1

got my engine from heavy throttle. original spark plugs, and you could still read the part number off the original nissan clutch disk.

you get what you pay for....thats something that's VERY true with engines

dido, great places, the only other option is if you find a local place where they can give you compression numbers, leak test results and even a startup. Warranty and extra parts on a clip are also good if you find a local place. this is an option because you may be able to rent a truck and drive an hour or so and pick up something nice. that would cost you less than shipping and is worth it if you are getting a good deal

that was one of the key selling points when i decided to go with HT. Their old shop used to be an hour away from me, so i just picked up my engine in a minivan also, when i was lacking parts..he helped me out a few times.

Do yourself a favor and pay more for a good engine up front, rather then paying later for a cheap/crappy engine. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a clip so you have everything you need for the swap.
