hmm, time for me to run a CAD off of mine and have a few made, huh.

I figure the that all RB gears will be the same since they use the same timing belt length and cam gears.

Good luck with the search

I just had to replace the crank timing gear on my 20. Bought one for an RB26. It's identical as far as I can tell. Fits perfect. Timing mark in exactly the right spot. I believe that while the Nissan part numbers are different, all the RB's use the same timing gears. I know the timing belts and cam gears swap between the 20, 25, and 26 so makes sense that the crank timing gear would be the same.

Anyway, I would call an engine importer. Check our sponsors. Ask them if they have any bad long blocks that they are parting out.

Could also try this link. http://www.japanparts.com/db/p...olkey

They only show one for a 26. But like I said, they are identical as far as I can tell. Hope this helps.

ok, thats the link i saw earlier at work, i guess it is just blocked at work because it opened fine here at home. The estimated delivery says about a month, did it really take this long to get it? Anyone know any other place that would be faster? Thanks

I didn't buy mine from japanparts. I put the word out in these forums and someone came to my rescue and sold me one for a great price.

I did however make the mistake of saying "name your price, I'm desperate". I got lucky. I had one guy sell me one for a great price and other people emailing me wanting ALOT more than a new one costs.

Like I said, I'd call an engine importer and see if you can pick up a used one cheaper and faster. Hope you get it all going soon.

you should call them up and ask why there is a price difference for the two. maybe you'll get lucky and get it for the cheaper price.
