Where to buy a 2jzgte motor?

I am helping my friend install a 2jzgte into a 240sx.

The swap is staight foward, but I'm more nervous about finding a jdm 2jzgte in good condition. I would hate to go through all the work in putting the motor in, just to find out that a week later it had something wrong with it.

I understand its kind of a "gamble" either way, not all used motors were treated equally...but with that said, I want to find a reputable shop/place that sells jdm 2jzgte motors. A shop that offers success stories to previous motors they have sold to other people. A shop with good customer service...a shop that basically won't try to screw me over.

So with that said, where do you recommend I shop for a jdm 2jzgte motor?

Searching vendors and reviews help. But why the less desired gentlemans law JDM version?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by less desired? I'm assuming compared to the U.S. version.

The jdm version is attractive because it is very similiar to the U.S.D.M version. There are a couple of differences, but nothing too major. The price of the jdm motors is very attractive.

sorry, but what are the difference between the jdm and usdm 2jz's?

injectors, turbos, cams, fuel system. usdm motor is superior to the jdm motor in stock form.
