They are under a cover in the middle of the motor. The sr uses coil packs so there are no wires. You can use a 10mm to unbolt the bolt holding the coil down and wala take out spark plugs

well thanks for the quick response. a while ago i came on here with the same question and said, im assuming they are under the head cover/valve cover/ whatever you want to call it, and some one called me out on it saying that was incorrect, but failed to inform where they are.

If you had that much trouble finding the spark plugs, maybe you should have someone else work on your car.

did you know where they were before someone told you? you didnt know what jerkin off was either, but you still did that.

my last car was an 86 porsche 944 turbo and it had ignition wires clear as day. ive never even heard of a 'coil' before.

dont knock someone for asking a question cheif.

ehh i've heard of that but imo its not for me. just more stuff to break. certain auto advances are just silly. like rain sensing wiper blades, auto dimming headlights, and is it mercedes or bmw that will slam on your brakes for you or swerve you "back on the road". yeah not for me

Why do all these Noobs call themselves "Drifters" and "Tuners" when they cant fix a simple headlight problem or search that SR's dont have a distributor?

i agree.

though i must say. i drove my grandparents lexus the other week with all those kinds of features. pretty freaking spiffy. wouldn't want it all the time, but still pretty slick haha. i especially love the auto-adjusting seat / thermostat / gauge brightness / etc that they have depending on which key you use :]

oh technology these days.
