Where should the clutch bite at?

I had to fully adjust my pedal because the Oriely's master cylinder was garbage and didn't extend as much. Long story short I bought a Tokico master cylinder and can't seem to find the sweet spot. I don't want to ruin a brand new clutch and have to change it again. My clutch bites at 3/4 way out.
