soooo I decided to do as much as my suspension at 1 time, as I could. my buddy works at a part place so I grabbed a few things

Monroe inner and outer tie rods, with ends
moog sway bar links (front)
moog sway bar and links (rear)
Monroe gas shocks (rear)
Monroe sealed gas shocks (front)
Dorman boots for rack and pinion inner and outer as well as the cv axles.
Castor transmax to flush and fill transfer case
new fuel filter and oil change
new electric fan
3 new belts
new ac pump
and a few here's and there's interior wise
24 new studs and lugs

my question to everyone is, how wise would it be to put new boots on with old cx axle and rack exposed for quite some time. I mean wouldn't I be trapping the dirt and grime thay I couldn't get to in??

Well, it'd be better than leaving them exposed. Short of rebuilding them, maybe you could try wiping off whatever grease you can get to. But for the CVs, unless you've got one of those split-boot designs (which usually aren't recommended), then you've got to take the CV apart to install them anyway...and it's the perfect time to re-grease them...but a lot of work.

Oh yess of course the "work" part of it! I did my ball joints a few months back and found pulling the cv out from the wheel hub wasn't to hard and made it quite easy to change out the old ball joints. and since I figured I'd grab one of these kits : http://www.courtesyparts.com/bundle-tim ... _7668_7669& , I'll have alot of the front end exposed making it easier to get to my rack and clean off/out of what crap is left behind.
