I've been looking through the net, and found a few places with rebuild kits for the KA24E, but so far the best price has still been through work (Autozone) at $504 with tax/shipping everything....

that kit comes with: CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS, MAIN BEARINGS, CAM BEARINGS, THRUST WASHERS, PISTONS, RINGS, COMPLETE GASKET SET, CAMSHAFT, LIFTER OR FOLLOWERS, TIMING KIT OR BELT, OIL PUMP, FREEZE PLUGS

I can get it overnight shipped for free and have it the next day, but that's not that important to me....Basically I'm looking for somewhere that sells a kit similar to this with all of these parts for a lower price, and if anyone knows of where I can get such a kit please let me know.

you sure can...i forget the price of it, but it's similar to the cost of the one for the SOHC.....which is funny because through us the timing kit for the SOHC is like $85, but the one for the DOHC is over $400

lol

Edit: Just checked, and the DOHC rebuild kit is $598.99, but then i just noticed that it doesn't come with either a camshaft or timing kit......BOO!!!
