I got rear ended in my mom's car coming home from work in the power outage. $2500+ worth of damages and thats only my car. No friggin traffic lights worked. People speeding through major intersections like everyone on the road got a death wish.

Amazing how stupid people are in situations like this. I hope nothing BIG happens anytime soon or the major metropolitan areas might as well blow themselves up.

The idoit was tailgating in these condtions. It was a tow truck driver. The whole situation is BS. The most of the gas stations ran out of gas now. No one could have buy gas because of the pumps not working, a hell of a lot of people ran out of gas and left the cars on the road. Seen a guy walking with his motor cycle. I had to turn of the A/C cause i was starting to run low on gas. Last night was the worst no power, no A/C, no entertainment, just outside. Seen a shooting star cause you could see all the stars when all the city is blacked out. The hood was noisy(sp?) last night due to everyone beening outside and can't sleep. couldn't see **** besides the stars outside but still everyone outside. I could see my dad's car in the driveway due to to in being black with dark tint and i like 10 feet away from it!! All i was able to see was the red light on his deck flasing LOL and buy the way i relized how much candle light sucks last night.

Money talks...You know what come to think of it this kind of thing happens with hurricanes down here (the 4 dollars for water thing). We haven't had any yet though...wonder whats going on. I'd think that by now we'd have at least 1 come up and brush VA.

I drove into the NYC from Long Island hoping to find my girlfriends mother and bring her home at around 2:30, All i can say is wow!! I never seen anything like that before I mean pitch black so black you could just see the outlines of the Manhattan skyline. I got to Penn and parked across the street on 34th and 7th. Total insanity, people everywhere on the sidewalks sleeping, garbage everywhere, it looked like everybody was homeless, couldn't find her and hoped that she jumped on one of the buses going into Jamaica and that we'd see her at home. Over in Suffolk County didn't get lights back until about 6-6:30am. I don't want to go to work cause it's going to be soo busy since nobody went to work and they will have nothing to do but stay at home and call in to place bets on horses. This sucks sooo bad.

Ok. It's now 10:07pm and the lights haven't went out again like said it is sopposed to just flashed a couple times (they still are saying it's gonna go out again). The the big deal he now is for some reason people's have no water. My uncle who lives like 15min away from my house their water hasn't been working since the power went out yesterday and that was around a little after 4pm.
