Whenever I am driving I always feel heat coming from somewhere in the car. The heat is off but I just feel it and dont know where it's coming from. It's not coming from the vents. Is this happening to anyone else?

Maybe the Y pipe that (alledgedly) needs replacing is leaking something under the drivers seat??

i have had this also...in this and in other cars...that have auto climate control...so here what worked for me:

Let's say it was a cold morning and you set your heat on like 80....and got back in during lunch and it warmed up, so you hit the climate control off... i have found in most cars with auto climate control...that temp still tends to radiate out...so if it has warmed up...i will lower the temp..to about 72 before i shut it off and i dont have a problem, if i forget to lower it then that 80 temp i set in the morning tends to come out....I have done this in my Acura and in the M and it seems to work for me

There's also a 340+ HP V8 right in front of you... some heat is bound to leak into the cabin. Like the last post said, whatever the last setting for your climate control, the vents will remain 'open' until you reset it. So if it heats up, it'll leak in. Be happy we don't drive a 97 Trans Am... you have to turn on the heat on full blast in the summer to keep the motor from over heating.

Bingo!!!!

I went shopping yesterday and mentioned it to my friend in the passenger seat and he said the same thing. So I put it to 70 and cut off the auto climate control (ACC) and the air was cool. Is this fresh air coming from outside or is it the ACC still blowing air.

Do you guys feel air coming in from the door handle when driving on the beltway?
