First off, it was very nice meeting and chatting with you JD. Thank you for the oppurtunity to pick your brain.

Second, we are working on these headers and we are continuing with the testing. Unfortunately SEMA projects and delays pushed us back a bit on further development. However, SEMA is behind us and we can get back to work on the testing.

The prototypes are finished, they have been for quite sometime now. We're just working testing now. The main thing is to find a way to make them without setting off any check engine lights or anything.

Are you saying there is an issue with them at the moment?

Any ballpark info on these?

no and no...

I'm saying that they are being tested. We need to make sure that they don't set off any lights and to do so we need to put a lot of miles on a car. For example the Nissan Titan or G37 and other new Nissan's will run fine for 500 miles, but at 500 miles they throw codes and get all whiny. So, we just need to make sure that there are no issues like that. It's all about testing and doing our due diligence.

As far as pricing goes, it's too early to tell yet. I haven't seen everything that's involved yet, the R&D team is still working on it so I have no clue.

Yes.. its gonna fit the QR25 so it will fit the coupe, sedan and i believe the sentra... doing this will increase the availiblity for demand and reduce the price for the consumer

I could be wrong here but will they fit the sentra? Then why dont sentra turbo applications match up easier. I thought there was a down pipe issue.

I know they are being tested on the sentra.

Hey Guys,

We are developing the headers on the Sentra only because our 2.5 Altima has been on tour with the National Guard all year. However, it's back now and it's ready for some testing.

There are some clearance differences between the Sentra and the Altima but they are easily resolved. Basically the oil pan location for the Altima sticks out a little bit further than on the Sentra. Not a big deal at all. It just means that we make the headers to fit the Altima and simply use a different B-pipe between the two cars.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

OK, so we had a new products meeting on Wednesday and we discussed the headers for the 2.5. They are on their way to final fabrication/production right now. We are looking at about 30-60 days before we have parts. They made some good power too!

No idea on price just yet. I would imagine that they'll be around the same price as the current headers for the 2.5 Sentra's and Altima's.

Power wise, I want to say it's around 10-12 at the wheels. Not 100% sure on that but for some reason those are the numbers that come to mind.

+1

i hopefully can save up money for a cat back and the headers. cat back is so spensive. i'd like to get a full exhaust setup at the same time (headers and cat back) to se a noticable difference. just as i would like to collect all my suspension parts (stabilizer bar, endlinks, strut) and have them all installed at the same time to see a big difference. i just get to excited and couldn't stand seeing them in the box and waiting for the install!

You guys should know us well enough by now to know that we always run group buys hahaha...I don't think you guys would buy anything if it wasn't arranged througha GB haha.

We usually don't do group buys on new products however I can see what we can work out with the manager's.

I think it is gonna be a header B-pipe combo that eliminates the cat if i remember correctly but ive been wrong before.
