We haven't seen any of Prof. Mike's practical, pragmatic posts in a while. Is the Professor still monitering this site? I really appreciate his hands on experience with the J30.

Well,

Its not been made official yet, but since you asked:

Prof Mike has expressed the need to focus more on other things in his life and he will no longer be able to help us out the way he has been..:(

He will no longer monitor us, or at least only on rare occasions.

I guess he has more of a life than some of us other moderators..:pface. (hmm maybe I should get one)...In the meantime others have become more active here to fill that space left.It will take us some time but an offical new Professor will come eventually.

Fred....:)

PS: If you are reading this Professor Mike you will be missed, look us up again soon.:thumbup

Fred if you had a life, you would probably squander it on all those young ladies that keep climbing into your car. You've been quiet lately...been on assignment? Sorry to see Prof Mike go...he was a source of comfort and confidence back in my early days on NICO, when I somehow convinced myself that I could do my plenum, guides, and valve covers just because I had a few metric tools and had changed the oil a couple times. If it wasn't for him, I might still be scratching my head, wondering how to get the damn harmonic balancer off. Thanks a lot, Prof Mike!

I was afraid of this.:( Thanks, Prof., for all the practical advice. I hope that you do find a moment or two to come out and hang out around here from time to time. Your hands on experience with the J30 was invaluable. Now what the hell am I going to do about this friggin engine bogging problem? Can anyone fill the void left by this expert's departure? Bon chance, Professor.

looks like all we got is each other. i've been extremely busy as of late and haven't had much time to devote to the forums either, but i'll always try to make an effort to research the problem. i love to soak up all the little info.
