Hey guys,

I have some bad news to report! I'm undergoing some BS with ebay / paypal re: my nitrous kit ordered back in september.

I've opened a claim with pp to clear up this mess... first time being burned on ebay WHY ME!!! WHY MY NOS!!!! Keep you guys posted.

The worst thing is, I fear this douche is trying to scam me by taking my info and trying to get insurance and stuff under my name... I'm freakin, this is money I could be using for Christmas etc... or more importantly... getting sprayed for christmas.

Buddy is trying to give me fake tracking info etc. it's a nightmare

Umm...who is he?

You should post his info. for the masses in general chat so others don't get burned. Or, who knows...maybe someone knows him.

Sorry to hear and good luck!

Oh nooo.

I do agree with Sean. You should post his info here or the main general. Paypal ewill take care of it for you tho. I had a couple of times when I did not received the item and paid for. They always refound my money and I left a negative feedback. I also sell sometimes and have no issue. I am still 100% on ebay.

Ebay changed a lot lately. It is more buyer friendly. The seller can not leave negative feedback on your account. So just report it to ebay and they will take care of it. Be prepaired tho. It will take about a month.

Yeah, he has until Dec 4 to report back... I checked for his info on ebay, he is no longer a registered seller... of course... Thanks guys, I'm pretty pissed, but I know S#%( happens We'll have to see how paypal will deal with this BS.

His email was [email protected], interestingly, I had someone try and insure a 06 mazda 6 gt.

I think it is time to involve the cops too if he is trying to use your i.d. I would only buy from people with not less than 99% positive feedback and at least a year member on ebay. Without that I pass on even if it a good deal.

I think he's just F$(%ing with me to be honest, I agree, it would be pointless... but it could lead to worse things... should I contact the authorities?

I would say yes, trying to use your identity is fraud

on another note, it's possible his account was hacked, usually people don't go off the rails after 7 years of being in good standing

Wow dude, that SUCKS!!!

The same thing happened to me, I bought a 2 bottle Zex dry kit from a guy on ebay. I paid he said it was shipped then communication stopped.

I called ebay and got some information about him by bs'ing with the ebay person. I used this info to do a search and found his home address and some contact numbers.

I talked to him once on the phone, he was in Tenn, told him I would be in Bowling Green in a month, if I didn't have my kits I would be paying him a visit and gave him his address. He promised to send them.

Called a week later when no tracking info or kits had arrived. Talked to his (ex)wife, apparently he had split and ran off with a bunch of money and some other chick. His wife was BITTER, I paid her shipping again via paypal. She sent me every car thing the dude had left in the garage.

There is more but I plead the fif I would tell you what else happened but well never mind.

If you paid with a credit card like say AMEX, you can also file a claim with them and you may end up making money when paypal and AMEX settle the claims. Now if you can also get the guy's ex wife to send you the nitrous kits after the paypal and CC claims are settled well then you just got paid to take the kits off her hands and if she sounds cute on the phone and you have to talk to her a few times, LISTEN to her *****, comfort her and when she is done just say " you know what would really piss him off?" if she throws in a couple photos of herself to spite the jerk off that sold you the kits in the first place all the better

Not saying that is what happened to me just giving you some internet advise buddy

PS Paypal will not give you a complete refund, probably a percentage, your CC should give a full refund back to the card but it will take 2 billing cycles...... I would imagine
