I feel your pain! I too have had threads taken. We are dealing with powers bigger than us. You didn't say anything about a certain moderator?

As far as why who knows. This thread could disappear at any moment. (poof)

I too would like to see those pics posted back up, the F50 with the Impul kit looks great.

Sadly the last thread was ruined by people obsessed with starting fights about what VIP means, some of whom probably showed up after a certain VIP-obsessed jerk was kicked off the board (Falkdesigns).

It did? Over an Impul body kit?

Just relink the pictures. Surely that can't be too ugly?

Or just post the pics in the official F50 check in, so that they stay there

It's small ignorant comments like this that caused his previous thread to vanish If your point was to have the pics put back up just say that, why leave a comment that could easily start that whole thing up again

Falk was removed? Weird.

VIP = Very Impaired Performance

VIP is style over substance, cartoons over reality. If one wants to cripple their car thusly, who cares? As long as they don't run into someone else, they're fine. If they do, the suing attorneys will have a field day. The law can teach some pretty hardline lessons about personal responsibility.

I didn't think anyone regarded posts in General Chat as any reflection on reality.

Wait aren't we trying to get rid of talk like this that might agitate other members on this site. It's one thing to give the pros and cons of certain mods someone does to their car, but to flat out tell someone their ruining their car is rather odd to me. I joined nico for all the technical information it had to offer and am quite pleased with the wisdom I picked up from members on this site. But personally think the of certain members taste should cease. Maxnix you've made it very clear you're not a fan nor see the point in VIP okay that's cool, but how many times do you need to make it known?

I agree Maxnix.

While there were a few things that interested me, like lowering and wheel fitting, I hated the whole VIP scene. This was mainly because of the arguing and bickering and the stupid pretension of making your car look like a freakin limo.

If I wanted to go VIP, I saw a hearse in a junkyard recently which I can grab the window curtains out of. Curtains, a bottle of Welch's grape (can't afford grey poop-on) + a bunch of knicknacks which I could could pick up from the dollar store and I dare a fool to tell me I wasn't rolling VIP style. Sheeet!

If stupid is a "taste", then it will get no mercy from me. Others can be PC to not offend the ignorant. Isn't that what made this country great? Persih the thought we should offend a few Tories back in the eighteenth century!

Quantitative data please when making performance claims.

SWITCHING GEARS

How long did it take to install the kit, or did you pay someone?

Yeah, and I'd like to know attachment methods.

Saw an Autech installation manual one time, and it required drilling holes on the rocker panels. Not a good way to preserve car bodies.

Don't provoke them! If you like vip or exe it's best not to mention that here due to an all-American mindset these forums tend to have.

Doesn't matter what you like that F50 is sexy as hell and I can't wait to see the skirts!

Really? Most here know all Q45 are built at the Togichi plant.

I moved the thread because it got out of hand.

Mark, I'm really sorry, I was going to email you and repost the pics but it totally spaced my mind. I moved the thread and did something else and spaced it....

I sent you an email.

If anyone has any problems with anything I do on this forum, please email me. I take personal responsibility for anything that happens in the Q45 forum, regardless of if I did it or not (regarding posts randomly disappearing).

FWIW, occasionally the forum software does not post a reply even though it seems like it did. I have this happen maybe once a week? You know you posted in the thread but it doesnt show up, its most likely because the software didnt post it.

Im not here to create drama or feel like I need to have power, Im just here to talk about Q45s... I would be exactly the same way if I was not the moderator of this forum (and the other infiniti forums on this board), but if something goes out of hand it is my responsibility to deal with it, and it is your responsibility to deal with me OFF the board.

Regardless of where someone posts something on this message board, they will be held accountable for their words to the extent listed in the membership agreement terms (you know, that thing that you click that says "I agree to these terms")

Ok,nothing personal but I PAID BIG MONEY FOR KIT AND PIANT and busted my *** to install, and here I am on a hijacked post intended to be read by people who are interested in my kit and not who is on or off.oh well.Jesda, thanks for getting the pics from you know where. Thanks for the guys that stood up for me on the origainal post. I am hear beacause of the knowlegde that intellegent people provide in a somewhat curteous manner. lolol

The install was EASY!!!! because all the parts fit EXACTLY where the originals fit. probably took about four hours over a couple of days. Youd be surprised how little bracing or support there is on those bumpers!!!!!My paint guy (does a lot of custom work) was VERY impressed with the quality of the parts.. ..said the seemed more like factory parts than aftermarket..wont tell you what i paid from burtman industries ....but jason is a great guy.Cost $1000 to getthe paint laid on. and then I did the install.

Wes, if you can repost the cleaned thread I will put this write up there.also will send pics with the skirts.

Am still looking for some FX 20s any body got some?

Mark

I've dealt with Jason as well. Real great guy, easy to deal with, and all his stuff is very high quality. And for his wood trim kits, the price is quite reasonable.

I'm really impressed with the paint job. Silver is not an easy color to match, and it appears to be worth every dollar. In all, its what the revised 05 should have been.
