I'm trying to figure out the best way to brace my downpipe to the transmission. I modified the stock bracket to fit my 3" exhaust but I don't see any point on the transmission to attach it. I was thinking about making a custom bracket to brace the downpipe to the two studs coming off the rear of the Nismo transmission mount. What do you guys think is the best way to brace the exhaust?

Theres actually a bracket that bolts on to the transmission mount thats used to connect the DP to it. Ebay might have it or junk yard.

I would highly recommend you make an adapter to brace to the transmission mount. I already cracked one elbow cuz I didn't have it. It's a lever kind of action that puts too much stress on it. Yours could work fine, dunno, but I braced mine and used urethane hangers and it is nice and tight.

Defenitly have it braced. The vibration and stress from the exhaust can cause a Tubular Manifold to break, Turbo to come loose, or Stainless Elbow to break.
