The side going to the exhaust manifold, as far as i understand it, needs to be cut down slightly and rotated to match the turbo extension. I have a blitz downpipe that i will soon be doing the same thing to but i just need a couple more parts to come in before i do this. However, when you get this done...if you could let me know how much shorter you had to make the downpipe i would appreciate it. I have the exhaust and cat ripped off the car and my new exhaust isn't in yet so i would have no idea how much shorter the downpipe needs to be. If you could let me know i would appreciate it.

ok, like doogz said, the top of the down pipe were it bolts to the turbo, cut turn weld ! also you may want to shorten it and maybe have welded at an angle away from the left frame rail, mine it beating against it under boost and torque... not good at all! i fearing a horrid sound from under my hood ! only to see that ive riped the exhaust mani from the head !! its even giving me night mares !

I checked into the JIC downpipe from Takakaira actually...did you realize takakaira is located in Japan? dont let the english fool you...I also found out that shipping from there, to my house, taking care of all the customs stuff etc. would cost an additional $95!!!!

yep, I was actually planning on going w/ the JIC downpipe from takakaira, then I was pleasantly surprised at the final price of $205 shipped as well as they wouldnt have it in stock for 3 weeks..... so i ditched that and just bought a DP from heavy throttle
