where is your oil return line????

I have heard a lot of people welding it to the oil pan, i also heard of people drilling into the block and tapping a fitting. Im pieceing everything together so just wondering where i should do mine. any inputs and pics would be great. i got a 97 s14 thanks

I'd only tap the block if I were a) rebuilding the engine and had it all apart already and b) if I knew the person that was going to be doing it.

Do the pan, it's a lot easier.

Pan ftw. Doing the block is more complicated then a laymen should be attempting.

Do remember if you put on the oil pan, you need to place based on if you are keeping A/C or not.
