So im trying to figure out which wire is the temp gauge in the transmission from the transmission computer. Apparently that wire is damaged at some point is what this shop said, but they dont wanna replace the wire... says they cant cause its a resistance wire which makes no sense to me. If anyone has a wiring diagram for this or anything is general from where it comes outs of the computer to where it plugs in the transmission. Thanks

FSM will tell you, but it should go: Transmission>Extra Auto transmission Subharness>Extra plugs behind passenger headlight>connector in passenger kickpanel>Auto Transmission Controller. You could take a multimeter and test continuity between each point until you find the break and replace that section of wire.

The wire itself shouldn't carry any specific resistance. How the temperature sensors work is they have a varying resistance which changes with temperature, which is what the Auto transmission ECU Controller is reading. To read a resistance, it either supplies a current and then reads the voltage, or vice versa. Either way, it doesn't affect the wiring.
