Its sitting in the passengers foot well, and has a bigass cord running from it to a hole in the firewall. Im assuming its the ECU or something similar. I looked under the dash, but I dont see where it would go.

Okay, take off your passenger side kick plate. If there's nothing there, then that's your ECU. You may have to remove your door sil when taking off that plate.

Oh yeah... BWAHAHAHAHA!

Mines mouned to the side on the body outside of the carpet under the glovebox..so somehow this just isn't weird to me. All my friends are hardcore into fast hondas so they all have socketed OBD1 ECU's and all there ECU's are just in the glovebox or where mine is because they access them a lot and honda door sills are a ***** to put back on.

Sweet Jesus! Put your ECU where it belongs!

1. Open the passenger door.2. Unscrew the black plastic screws in the sill trim.3. Remove the trim.4. Use a large Philips head screwdriver to remove the three bolts that secure the kick panel.5. Remove kick panel.6. You'll notice TWO metal brackets, one high, and one low. If you do not have the screws that fit in there, they are 10m 1.5 thread with hex heads and Philips slotting. Turn the ECU so that the diagnostic LED points TOWARD the engine bay.7. Take off all that wrapping and duct tape and mount that bish up.8. Replace kick panel.9. Replace sill trim.10. Close the passenger door, and look for a moment at your perhaps slightly cleaner flooring.11. Enjoy at room temperature.

If you were sitting down in the passenger seat, its down to the right of your feet. It is mounted directly onto the unibody with one screw through the top bracket and one through the bottom bracket.

The little window hole faces toward the front of the car away from the passengers.

BTW, it kind of looks like the inside of your car may have been stripped of interior panels. I hate to say it, but the car really looks like crap even from the one photo. Who did you buy it from?

Oh, yea, its crappy alright. It was stolen and stripped and rodded and beaten to **** and the guy didnt want it back. And the insurance company sold it cheap, but didnt find the interior.

Actually, the last owner took out the panels to remove the ****ty salt crused carpet, lost interest and didnt put it back together. He's bringing the everything to me, its just a matter of time.

LOL so that's crappy huh? Oh I agree with you, but it's funny how people do that on purpose for "weight savings."

Remember that the next time someone posts about a "gutted" car. Too many double standards. Ghetto is ghetto! :P Unless it's track only...

The bag is anti-static. If you do a lot of rom tuning, leaving the interior panels off and keeping the ecu easily accessible (not mounted) will save a lot of time.

Its gotta go in soon, have all the codes checked. I have a felling its running rich. And it needs the oil changed and the engine shampoo'd and the muffer replaced. Eh, I just got it. I have other issues to sort out before any of that.

There are holes in the car metal that you mate to the tabs on the computer. You need some nissan bolts to screw into the car metal through the tabs to mount the computer.

Not anymore, I put most of it back together, now I even have two speakers and a head unit to produce a small amount of sound. The door panels have had the stock inserts removed and have been replaced with blue vinal. Those are coming out REAL soon, same goes for the glovebox, and anything easily removed from the dash. c*** sucking ricer...
