I bought my rough with towing package. My though with the towing package it should have Isolator and pre wireing. The service manager don,t even know. I blame Nissan for not getting information on the tow pack,

Are you referring to the trailer lighting pre-wire? Many members have commented on this and it appears the vehicle is prepped for trailer light wiring but does not include the actual 4 pin harness.

Now, if you bought your Rogue with the optional towing accessories, it should have included the harness complete with 4 pin connector and a class I/II hitch.

Yep the window information says pre wireing for tow hitch that is good if its set up with isolator and I could find it. The harness is 200 $ from the dealer they havent found where to plug it in.

Pleas read the Rogue Glossary Sticky at the top of the forum. There are 2 wiring install methods under Accessories and Modifications:

Trailer wiring - DIY lighting converter installation - zerothread/333642Trailer Wiring with no splices - zer...51101

The white connector shown in the DIY lighting converter installation is the 12V source used for the trailer light isolator. It's located underneath the left storage bin... the one with the tow hook. If the dealer is planning to charge you for the converter, I suggest you order up the one shown under the 'Trailer wiring with no splices' thread. It's really plug an play and for $49 considerably cheaper.

I just purchased my Rogue and the window sticker says it is prewired for trailer lights. .Does that mean I need to purchase the wiring harness and install it as indicated with the last post or does the prewiring mean I am good to good and don't need it. ? Just a little confused with the info provided by the dealer. Thanks, Al

The pre-wire is just a 12V plug for Nissan's trailer light converter accessory which is available as a dealer installed option.

Please read my previous thread. It has links to a couple of converters including one that is completely plug an play into the 'pre-wiring' and is much cheaper than Nissan's accessory converter.
