Where is the transmission drain plug of the sentra 2001?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Could anybody tell me where the transmission drain plug is on my sentra 2001? Thanks.

I don't think the automatic transmissions have a drain plug...if you're looking to drain the fluid, just drop the pan and replace the gasket and filter and then put new fluid in it.

I swear to Diablo if any of you guys make fun of my art...

That is the drain plug. ALL transmissions have a drain plug unless it's a BMW. Once you drain it, it should take between 4-4.5 quarts of Matic D if it's an auto, filled thru the dipstick tube up top, the one with the handle that looks like a hook holding it on.

Sorry, 90% of the cars I have worked on do, the 10% being BMWs.

I do know; however, the Sentra does because I have done many transmission services by pulling said plug. Sorry for the assumption above.
