I have had this tach signal problem for awhile! Could I just wire another wire form the start to the ecu? If that would solve the problem then I don't exactly know where it starts at...so that is the main question I need answered! I have had my car at the performance shop waiting on dyno tuning but they can't do it with out the SAFC2 getting a rpm signal.

ooh my buddy is in the same kinda situation, JWT sent him back his #62 ecu and now the tach signal dont work, they said it was his fault and wouldnt fix it without more $$ and that he might need a new ecu, so he is tachless for now with a not so great tune either

anyways i would hook it straight to the ecu tach signal, yellow/red wire, if u dont get a good reading then most likely your ecu is broke

Yeah that. The yellow/red goes from the ECU straight to the cluster so that is what you will need to tap into.
