Where is the Summer NICO meet going to be?

Is this all the Votes we can get?We will try and make a decision on 4/5/2003.There has to be one decision made soon so that the planning can begin.No matter what the place will be we should all do our best to attend.Trust me the trip will be worth it!;)

And the murder capitol of the US...what more could you ask for?

Indy is a pretty nice city and Cincy isn't too far, but their roads are s***. I liked Indy the time I went and I was in my S14, so I would have remembered if there were any negatives as far as road quality or difficulty finding anything. Hell, I just talked myself into it...Change my vote from Cincinnati to Indianapolis somebody.

I voted for Indianapolis, only because I have never been there. Cinci is fine and dandy and I wouldnt mind having it here but Im a big fan of road trips... :pface

Hey I got an idea....

I hear this city in Iowa called Cedar Rapids has this really cool performance shop. Maybe we could meet there and check out some S13's and S14's getting SR's installed. I heard they might even have an R32 or two by June. I think it's run by a couple of really cool guys too, who wouldn't mind throwing a gran turismo party on a big screen tv right in the showroom of the shop.

Anyway, that's what I hear.

My 2nd choice is Indy. It's the closest of the mentioned cities.

I don't know about a track, we'd have to check into that. There is parking though. We have already gotten permission from a local Kmart to use their parking lot for events. Maybe we could plan it around an AutoX. We'll check into it.

Man, I'm so damn jealous - It seems I can't get the ball rolling here in AZ. Most everyone I've tried to put something together with has flaked out (or run off and bought a bimmer).

1700+ miles to Indy is a little much for me to drive, although I'd have no qualms making the trip if I had a couple co-pilots. With $$$ the way it is now, there's no way I can swing a plane ticket either (without winding up divorced).

I'd give my left pinky to be there with you guys though.

Keep me in the loop - Maybe something will fall into place...

hey hitman ride over to MS and we can ride up together if you want to go you can get to MS in a day I'm sure free room at my place in Clinton and then we hit the road next day and fly like a mofo up north

Local autoX dates this summer (SCCA) for us would be...

May 25thJune 29thJuly 6th

All of which are Sundays. Maybe a GT tournament/hangout Saturday afternoon/night. Then autoX all day Sunday? Some people might wanna take off Monday from work if they are driving far. Anyway, let me know. If these dates are gonna work, we'll get started on setting stuff up. Maybe we could even have an autoX lessen/seminar on Saturday sometime. I could tell all the newbies how to drive

Urgh...I mean get good times autoXing.

I could maybe make a trip to Cedar Rapids the end of June. I would love to see the shop and I think it will be cool to get some good shop pics with all of these cool Nissans parked outside! I've never even been to Iowa.

Drive to Louisville and caravan the rest of the way. It's not really that far. Just the other side of Illinois. We caravaned to indy on the way back, then it was only another 6 hours by ourselves.

I would think that pitching this idea to mom and day would be easy.1) its not a big city2) a short drive to Louisville and you hook up with other somewhat mature people3) the shop is owned by two cool Nico mods4) there might be a Skyline there5) GT (we are going to be playing video games):D

I don't know......I know Ben pretty well and I know his parents also. Its hard to have him get an extra hour of play time each night!!! I would rather have it in BG, or Cinci personally, no offense to Adam or Torry though, its just a bit far for me also..... : ).

yea Rubin knows where i'm comin from. my parents set limits, and they are hard to exceed. it would be real fun i think, and that is a pretty good sales pitch Dane, but i doubt it would work. it would maybe w/ just my mom, doubt it, but definately not my dad. oh well, the joys of being young.

OK new plan...Shoot my 1st idea past your mom.Dont tell your dad for a few days then ask him.Also add that he could come with you to the April or May Louisville meet to meet some of us.Fred,Tony,Chris,Cory,Bud,Andy,Ruban,Brian,Me (we will be good or try real hard)Then maby he would let you go to Iowa.????
