Where is the stock fuel pump located?

Yeah I know this is kindof a newb question, but where is it? I have an SR if that makes a difference.

look under the carpet in the trunk...there will be a roundish plate screwed down with a little bundle of wires going under it. Unscrew it and there's your fuel pump!

Sweet. I was affraid that I would have to drop the tank as you do with a lot of other cars...

Nope, no need to drop the tank...it'll be kinda towards the back right side

If you're really worried about dirt getting into your motor, you can always drop the tank if you want to.

But hey, you have a filter for a reason right?

You must forgive him... he likes doing things the hard way. Whenever we work on one of our cars we like to turn 15 minute jobs into 3 hours jobs. Its more fun that way
