Where is the stock fuel pump located?

Yeah I know this is kindof a newb question, but where is it? I have an SR if that makes a difference.

look under the carpet in the trunk...there will be a roundish plate screwed down with a little bundle of wires going under it. Unscrew it and there's your fuel pump!

Sweet. I was affraid that I would have to drop the tank as you do with a lot of other cars...

Nope, no need to drop the tank...it'll be kinda towards the back right side :) Not hard to do at all!

If you're really worried about dirt getting into your motor, you can always drop the tank if you want to. :)

But hey, you have a filter for a reason right?

You must forgive him... he likes doing things the hard way. Whenever we work on one of our cars we like to turn 15 minute jobs into 3 hours jobs. Its more fun that way :)
