I bought a PCV to replace the original one on my 95 240SX, but neither me nor Discount Auto Parts where I bought it don't know where it is.The PCV is in the shape of a big bolt and normally goes somewhere close to the valve cover, but I can't find it.

Any one know exactly where it is, at least a good clue.

Thanks!

It's a job and a half to change.

on my '92 you drop the drip pan, remove the alternator and oil filter you can see it :) it screws into the rear of the crankcase breather boxwhich is bolted to the side of the timing chain cover with 3 bolts. you will prob have to remove the starter in order to replace the pcv hose.......wait till you have to do the timing chains :)

So if I just want to change the PCV and not the hose, do I still need to remove the starter?

check the FAQ's, i'm pretty sure it is there. Most people don't bother doing it because it is a PAIN in the butt for DE's.

Us SOHC guys got it easy with this one, our PCV valve is connected right into the ECCS air collector.

Takes five minutes to change. NOW you can get jealous. :)
