where is the neutral safety switch?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

my car wont crank, battery is fine and so are grounds, its either my solenoid switch or neutral safety switch, i tried to bypass my solenoid, and it spun the starter but wouldnt crank, and i need help to locate the neutral switch, wat do i look for! need help asap..........

Your car is automatic? I belive it is in the transmission area.

If you have a 5 speed I think what you are looking for is behind the clutch pedal. But if you spun the starter I dont think the neutral safty switch is your problem, because the neutral safty safty switch must be closed for the starter to get power to its coil. I am not totaly sure because Im not there. Have you taken your battery to a auto shop and have them put a load on it?

if you did an auto to manual swap, the neutral safety switch wires is the top connector next to the fuse box in the engine bay(by the battery)

It the engine cranks, forget about the neutral switch.

Check for spark and fuel.
