Where is the neutral safety switch at?

my engine is completly ready to be pulled tomorrow then my new one will be goin in along with a 5spd transmission. only problem is that for the 5spd swap i need to jump the neutral safety but cuttin the 2 wires and connecting them. im lookin though the fsm and i can find that its a black/green and yellow/green (in think) in the fuse box under the fuse for it but i dont know if this is where i have to jump them or what. can anyone help

inhibit relay under the hood. if its a 4 terminal relay jump terminals 3 and 5 and oust the relay. you can see the number s of the terminals by looking in the termnal area of the relay the numbers are printed on the plastic next to the respective terminal.

im not good with wiring and the terminology but what im gettin from this is the relay in the fuse box. i know which one it is so i basically stick a wire int he 3 and 5 numbers to connect them and ill be ok?

yeah but make sure you are sticking them in 3 and 5 if you go in 1 you'll fry a electronic componet. match the numbers printed inside the flat blade area of the relay to where the blade plugs in at the box.

ok so use the relay as a reference. then plug into 3 in the box and the other end of the wire into 5, right?

yep if it is a 4 blade relay.
