My car has some additional wiring to it like battery in trunk, Silvia lights, starter button and power windows. I was starting the car normally and it was turning over. Turned on headlghts and lost all power to the car completely. Checked all three fuseboxes and looked online. Can't seem to find any kind of main relay or fuse to check.

Well it appears the relays are working fine. I think there is something drawing too much power and switching a main relay or something. Battery is 100%, when I turn key to On I get interior lights and gauge lights and everything appears normal. If I turn on something with a big draw like headlights or ignition I lose all power and I think something under the dash switches. All I have to do to reset it is remove and replace negative terminal. Car acts as before but loses power upon ignition. Car was running and driving fine before this.

Clean your battery terminals. I had this happen to me a few times.

Got it to start. Battery terminals and battery were brand spankin new so not that. It has a ton of wiring from alarm, stereo, power windows, gauges, etc. I started pulling off alot of it. The ignition was broken before when the car was stolen so it has a push button starter and ignition and fuel pump are hotwired. Can I just get a used ignition cylinder and have it keyed for my key then splice the wires and install it?

Hey you were right. It happened again but this time it kept switching on and off. Found one of the ground wires coming loose from the clamp. Tightened it and problem solved.
