Hi. Newbie here. I have a 1990 240sx and want to recharge my AC. Where is the low side service AC port? I had my system refitted with the newer type of AC system so that won't be a problem. A description in laymen's terms would be greatly appreciated. A picture would be even better. I know that's asking for a lot. Thanks.

low side a/c service port is by the compressor, just below the exhaust manifold. unless you converted it to r134a, i don't really know where they put your service port but those are the spec for the s13.

its at the same side as before just the service ports have been changed from r12 or r134a. So yes by the compressor. The low side is easy too se since u can't connect it to the high side. Another way to tell is the low side is blue(cap is blue) if not then usually the low side has a smaller service port than the high side service port. Your not thinking of using that kreagan/autozone artic freeze recharge kit are you? I hope not. Those are short term fixes and do more harm in the future than good. Take it to a shop to get it recharged and fixed.
