Postby vmroca » Sat Mar 22, 2014 8:41 am

hi guys. newbee on this forum. hopefully someone here will help me find the idle speed compensator on my VG30 engine. the problem is when i turn on the a/c, the idle goes down, when it should be going up. after reading some reaserches, it MAY be the idle speed compensator is the culprit but i do not know where it is located. my vg30 has an electro injected carburetor. please help me.

That is a throttle body type of fuel injection. No carb there.
There are 2 solenoids on the outside of the throttle body that open in response to signals from the AC system and loads on the PS system.
One should make a click when the AC is turned on. If not, see if power and ground are at the connector. If not, get a diagram and work your way back and see what's missing.
