where is the expansion valve located?

and how do i get this off or can i buy some thing that will clean it out so i have a/c again

its under the dash. not sure but i think its by the glove box. i don't think you can clean it (if your talking about the inside) its better to get a replacement.

do you know i need to drain the a/c stuff out first or no?

i believe so cause refrigerant flows through there or something like that
