The picture of the HKS pulley is for a RB or CA (probably RB since it is marked that on the pulley). Both of those motors run timing BELTS.

Anytime the pulley/sprocket is thick like that it will be for a belt.

On the other question as to why HKS SR sprocket has the CAS worm gear and the other brands do no I am not sure. I am betting the others just expect you to use your existing stock worm gear, helps lower cost too probably.

Yes you pound out the gear on your old sprockets and hammer them into the new cam sprocket.

If you are after a cam sprocket for an SR20, go to G20.net or sr20forum.com and look for "P@" and Yahnozha, he does a +-4 or +8 or -8 1 degree locking set that is good quality and wont slip like the infinitely adjustable ones may do. made by his company "Custom Steel".

JWT sprockets are only adjustable in 2.5 degree increments, which is often too coarse, esp for a turbo where you have to finely control the overlap. I think if you look you will agree the price and quality are both good for the custom steel sprockets.

Nope, but you do need to separate the cam and gear each time you want to adjust.

The solidity of having to do that is why they cannot slip, slipping has destroyed many motors like the SR20 with interference heads.
