My truck is overheating I have changed out the radiator, the thermostat twice, replaced a fan clutch, also had pressure and blockage test ran on it which it passed but it still want to overheat. I was asked by someone about a coolant bleeder screw if it had been undone to release air from the system when the radiator was changed out I don't believe it was so I am trying to locate the bleeder valve on my 2001 Nissan frontier 6 cyl engine so that I can have it released to see if that will resolve the problem please if anyone is out there that can help I would greatly appreciate it. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to resolve this one issue and I am going out of my mind. :wtf2:

:welcome: to NICO!

Your factory service manual is available at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ and there is a good procedure for bleeding the coolant system starting on page MA-28.

Newer Nissan engines seem to be particularly sensitive to trapped air in the coolant so I think you have a good chance of solving your issue with this.

Good luck!

the bleeder screw is usually located really close to your coolant temp sensor on your intake manifold. This is usually the highest place in your coolant system.
