Where is the ABS module?

A fellow Versa owner from another country asked me whether she had ABS on her vehicle or not - ABS aren't standard for the Versa/Tiida models - how can I advise whether she has ABS or not?

Anyone know where the module is located? Diagnostic tests? From what I understand - the ABS red light only comes on if there is failure/error?

thanks in advance!

Here are the diagrams from the Service Manual. It also contains diagnostic tests, although some require Nissan test equipment and software.

Facing the engine from the front, it's behind the metal heat shield mounted on the firewall by the passenger's side. If the car is equipped, the ABS light will come on when the key is switched on, just like all the other warning lights.
