I am new here. I have 97 Q45. The engine has had louder noise than usual for a few months. I don't drive much, less than 1000 mi a year. I replaced spark plugs last week at Goodyear.
Now I would like to replace PCV valve. I heard that it's an easy one. Can you please tell me where the PCV valve locate at ? I just bought one today from AutoZone for less then $2.00.
I don't know much about car. If you can provide me a picture, it will be very helpful. If you have time, please also provide me step by step how to replace it. Thanks in advance.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE THAT PCV FROM AUTOZONE. RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY. It 's diameter is @ 0.5mm bigger than OEM and you may end up breaking the PCV Grommet on the valve cover (as what happened to me, requiring removal of the valve cover to get it out)

. Use only OEM or you can clean the old one and recycle. Search for a post from "q45tech" about PCV cleaning. Even the OEM is a bit tight so I used silicon lubricant around it and gently pressed it in.
