Yesterday I test drove my car around the block. Shortly after I parked it, this appeared on the garage floor.

Today I went to look, and the puddle has multiplied in size. It looks as if all the oil came out.

I know I need to replace the front main seal on my KA. After installing an aftermarket crank pulley, it has developed a severe leak.

However, could all this oil have come from just the front seal? It doesn't seem likely since it's located above the oil pan.

I'm guessing the pan must have a leak somewhere. Or could this much oil leak from anywhere else?

I haven't had time to get under the car yet, but I'm just trying to get some ideas for what to check.

Thanks ahead for any help!

check your power steering, looks more like p/s fluid than oil...or I got a great idea, jack the car up and look under to see where it is coming from.

"Where is my oil leak?"

Dood, it's right there, on the floor

Ok, seriously tho, that sucks, but you don't really have to ask about it, just jack up the car, clean **** up, and look.

If it's mostly on that side of the car, could be the oil filter or oil pan drain bolt area as well.

There's not THAT many places for oil to leak from on our cars & shouldn't be hard to locate if it's leaking THAT much.

Stop being lazy. Under the car you go.
