where is my ignitor????

I guess I'm an idiot, I got a front clip, but i don't know what the ignitor looks like or where to find it. Any onegot a pic of where it is an what it looks like??

The ignitor is mounted to the exhaust side strut tower on the japanese cars. It looks a lot like this: . That is a pic of a Z32 ignitor, but the SR is similar in shape and size. The Z just has extra pins for the extra coils, so the SR plugs will be a bit smaller. It is mounted to a plate that is mounted to the strut tower.

when i do swaps, i do reinstall the ignitor on the intake side. There's less heat on that side of the engine bay, and as we all know heat can lead to early electronic failure. Plus it moves it closer to the US location for the ECU.

yes. the stock boost selenoid control valve shares the plate with the ignitor
