Nah. I think it's more of waiting for the password resets. It took all day for mine to show up in my email, and then it showed up in the spam folder.

I'm here. Survived the switchover unscathed. Did someone paint the room a different color?

I took a while for me to find the page because it would 404. Back to searching and lurking.

Only today did I get a new password; I have been trying for the last 3 days. So, hopefully, forum members should start to appear

I got rid of my 2 Q45s... everyone else seems to be selling theirs or sold theirs.. the Q45 crew in Elk Grove/Sacramento all seem to have sold theirs too.

Still can't find another car that I like other than M5. Might get another...

heres a couple of pics of my ol' Qs... JDM in the black and intake/exhaust+eibach/tokicos+29mm/20mm/jeff-strutbar+16"wheels

The new site is slooowwwww. Anyhow, I have personally been traveling and my personal life has been in flux due to my job situation. Plus my Q is in the state I need it to be and so I haven't had much to say.

the new software whatever it is takes really long to do log-in etc. Hopefully it will speed up and I'll start to have a personal life again once I find a new job (I wasn't fired but the boss is a jerk and I need to find a new job).

Maxnix is having issues logging back into the site also. I don't like the format of the new site, but I do like the fact that I can now access this site on my BlackBerry now. Before, I couldn't.

I, for one, hate the new status icons, much worse that the prior ones. Is it possible to replace then with the old ones?

Could you at least add a legend of what they mean?

I'm here, first time returning since the new format. I'm wandering through the hallway so to speak, figuring it out.

Are all posts prior to the new format still in existence. When I clicked on view my posts, nothing there. I use keywords that worked in the past to retrieve a post but nothing .

I have been at the Betty Ford Clinic. No PCs allowed. Now I am in an adult detention facility. No PCs allowed. So while I'm here, I'm not really all here. Tomorrow I'm bowling with d!ck Nixon and Elvis and I won't be here. Not sure when I'll be back. That ought to make many of you happy.

PS. My car still runs like a chainsaw on meth but will soon need tires, shocks and brakes. I'll be holding up mini marts in an attempt to stockpile the necessary means, the necessary means.

There was some talk a couple of weeks ago that you must be locked up or you would have posted the day of the switchover. I stood up for you and said you were probably just on a binge but it looks like the naysayers were right.

If you snitch on the fellow inmate that smuggled in the Blackberry the people in charge (is it a sheriff or a nurse?) will cut a few days off your detention.

Your wit is unmatched. Glad to see you're back.

[quote="goody90q45"]... I stood up for you and said you were probably just on a binge but it looks like the naysayers were right.

You were right.

"[If you snitch on the fellow inmate that smuggled in the Blackberry the people in charge (is it a sheriff or a nurse?) will cut a few days off your detention.]

(sorry, not sure how to do a double quote in one post. Your PC skills are admirable and unmatched. I genuflect in your general direction. May I fix you a cocktail?)

It is she. She is a nurse and has the keys to a fine meds locker as well as a special encoded ID which allows her (us) access to much of the facility which would otherwise be off limits. She however, has no off limits. She is also just bit unbalanced and has an insatiable sex drive coupled with the desire to do interesting things in interesting locations. The whole lock down thing makes for some challenging planning, but her false teeth and rambunctious hunger for experimentation more than make up for it.

The car awaits patiently and is safely cocooned in my neighbors garage. It's only got 166K on it now, and I plan on flogging the beast to at least 200K if not 250K. Original coils! The old gal wanders abit above 125 though. Have to get on that upon my release.....that and the giant wing on the trunk.

Thanks Homeslice. I've enjoyed reading quite a few of your zingers as well. Touche.

Well I'm here. It's been a while. I haven't had any Q problems. The cars been in and out of the shop for various maintenance things, but nothing I couldn't figure out.

Until now. Got the car back from a rack replacement and new control arms. Replaced my Kumho Solus tires in the rear, and now I have an annoying vibration in the seat/gas pedal that occurs around 70-85 MPH.

Glad to see that most of the old gang is here.

Kumho Solus ranks pretty low in my book. I've driven on them in 3 Q what garbage on such a heavy demanding vehicle.

Nothing beats the Michelin V rated in 15" obviously there are a few other choices that ALMOST come up to Michelin in larger sizes.

The question is not what tests ok brand new but what survives after 8,000 miles.

I don't mind the new format at all!!! It took minutes for me to update my stuff. But then again, I just did it a few hours ago. The only thing that I'm missing and maybe it's there and I've not figured it out yet is, "who's on line" plus "you're logged on as...."

On the "selling the Q" subject, I've been thinking about selling mine as well. I will test the waters in a couple of weeks.

I didn't choose the Kumhos. They were on the car when I bought it. Now they're gone so problem solved.
